Localization, the adaptation of products & services to address differences in local markets, is becoming an increasingly useful tool for technology companies to access global markets. Localization was recently valued as a $2B industry.
  • But how should local companies localize their software, technical documentation, & websites?
  • Do it themselves or outsource it to a specialist?

There are advantages & disadvantages to each choice and we will explore them in this session. Other topics will include:

  • When to begin the GILT (globalization, internationalization, localization, translation) process
  • How to choose an LSP
  • What metrics (& costs) to use in evaluating LSP’s & GILT projects
  • Alternatives to outsourcing GILT/do it yourself?
  • How to work best with a LSP

This session is ideal for technical and marketing executives who are thinking about global expansion. Light refreshments will be served.
