Virtual Operating Subsidiary

An enterprise might create a wholly-owned subsidiary in the “captive” model, with its own staff, but operations could be managed by a third-party service provider that “guarantees” service level. Such third-party serves as a project manager using the enterprise’s resources. This model can follow the BOT / BOOT model or the captive model, depending on which party makes the capital investment and sets up the operations.
